I began in this industry as an SEO before we were called that. It was back in the day when you could submit your domain name to AltaVista and you’d pop up to the top. It was also a time of rapid evolution in search and online media in general. I read 40 hours a week to learn and keep up with the changes.
Since then my experience has included SEO and PPC for mom and pop shops as well as a Fortune 500 client list. I have built and run my own ecommerce business and have worked in web marketing as an employee. My long tenure has allowed me to begin a seasoned pro in SEO, PPC, email marketing, PR, web analytics, affiliate marketing, web design and conversion optimization.
Today I have shifted focus to an integrated approach to all things online marketing. At the core is web analytics. A good web analyst with the proper tools and implementation of those tools can inform so many parts of a business including marketing, customer support, technical support, product development, sales and the list goes one.
